From the moment he arrived, Aiden has brought laughter into our lives.  He was a ham from the very beginning... as evidenced in the pictures below!

One of his early loves was the Beach Boys.  Here he is bouncing his heart out to them... notice that he looks around to make sure we are paying attention to his cuteness!  Please DON'T notice the mess in the background!

We were thrilled to have Lisa Woods of Now & Then Photography take pictures of our family in November of 2009.  We kept it a secret so that we could give photos to the family for Christmas!  Here are some of my favorites.

Fall Fun 2009

So I'll start by back tracking... pretty much where I left off!  Here's a montage of our fall activities in 2009, including playing with cousin Reagan, Aiden's first pumpkin patch adventures, and Kyra & Josh fishing with the Girl Scouts:

Anybody out there?

Although I'm sure anyone who ever read my blog has long since given up on me, I'm vowing publicly to try again!  I've realized that I take a ton of pics that just sit on my SD card.  Since Calen was born, I find myself looking on my blog to compare him to Aiden at the same age.  So what happens if I don't keep up with it?  Do my memories fade?  Maybe not, but this mother of three definitely doesn't have the brain cells to remember the details without assistance!  Maybe one day my children will look back on this and see that I was paying attention!

So with that said... I'm off to try and sort out what's happened since I last posted ... 2?... years ago.  I need to stalk my sister-in-law's blog to figure out how she makes the cool photo collages...

I'm procrastinating on grading papers and doing my own homework, so I'll post my first blog in more than a year. Stacey tagged me, so here are my answers:

1. What brand of toilet paper do you use? Don't squeeze the Charmin!
2. Who is the celebrity you are most embarrassed to admit you have a crush on? Matt Damon, but not embarrassed. And really it's his characters that I love more, especially when they are multi-lingual. Not sure why...
3. What is your all time favorite movie? Gone with the Wind. Although I love What Dreams May Come and Knotting Hill.
4. What store do you spend most of your paycheck? Sadly, HEB. My family can EAT!
5. What is your favorite restaurant? Sonic at happy hour!! lol Oh, did you mean for food?
6. What is your most favorite thing to do in the town that you live? Try out restaurants to which I've never been... especially since I don't seem to have a favorite. And while I'm out, attend a show of some sort.
7. What is the best place you have ever been on vacation? Hawaii, hands down.
8. What is the most distant place you have visited? Lived in Bonn, Germany for one semester.

First Day of School!

Aiden was initially sad about Mommy and Kiki going back to school...

but the he realized he gets to play with Daddy all day!

Third grade. Can you believe it??

This boy loves...

many things, including:

his tunnel (especially when he rolls it over),

jumping (but only ever on ONE leg, mind you),

lots of toys at once,

playing "suuuuuper baby!" (or helicopter baby, in this shot),

trying to get his hands on anything electronic

But MOST of all, he loves...

his big sister!!
